WHY SHOULD THERE BE MUSIC?
Our District and partners highly value music education in schools; we have doubled the number of music teachers in recent years, and as a result have seen significant music student achievement in our district's history, including being selected for the Stanislaus County Honor Orchestra and Band, and competing amongst 375 national and internationally selected student at the prestigious Honors Performance Series at New York's Carnegie Hall.

The Let There Be Music Festival is designed to ensure that our music programs remain intact and available for our gifted students to participate in; as is well-known, when economic hardship occurs, programs such as music tend to be the first to go. It is our hope to stay ahead of any budget crisis and ensure music always has a place throughout our district.
